NATUAVENTURA ENGLISH CAMP in MADRID

Natuaventura Enligsh Camp Madrid, situated on the mountain range of Madrid, is an English immersion camp in a village called Manjirón, near Buitrago de Lozoya, were language is learnt through games and living together. Children from 6 to 17 years old are lodged in a spectacular hostel with an area of 20.000 square meters. Enjoying a summer camp with unforgettable experiences while learning a language is now possible in this immersion camp! It is run at the Sierra Norte Hostel, situated in a unique spot where fun and games are all around!

The program is run entirely in English by a team of bilingual counselors and native speakers of English. A great opportunity to learn a language while having fun!

In Sierra de Madrid English Camp there is a really wide range of activities: sports, instructive activities, multiadventure… On the 20.000 square meters of the hostel we can run games, sports, big gymkhanas, night activities… and the multiadventure program with climbing, rappel, zip line, archery and many other surprises like human fuss ball. The village swimming pool is only 200 meters away from the facilities.

The beautiful surroundings make also possible for us to do hiking, bivouac, kayaking, visiting the Atazar Reservoir and excursions the village of Buitrago del Lozoya and Segovia.

All these activities are run entirely in English. This way we make children learn and practice almost unconsciously.

Sierra Norte Hostel, located in Manjirón. It was renewed in 2013 and its facilities make it the ideal place to run a summer camp: 20.000 square meters of tree-covered walled field, full of green areas to play and have fun. Manjirón is a tiny village on the mountains where we are always treated as part of their family. It is very well connected: just 5 minutes from Lozoyuela and 10 minutes from Buitrago del Lozoya, where we can find all the services that we may eventually need, such as medical center and police.

We sleep in hostel rooms with bunk beds. Outside the rooms there are girls and boys separated bathrooms with individual showers. There is also a kitchen, an indoor dining room, an outdoor dining room, a warehouse… And for our activities we have: climbing wall, zip line, archery area, football field, wide spaces to play, a stage and a swimming pool only 200 m away. Around the hostel there are many hiking routes, the Atazar reservoir, the beech forest of Montejo, some bird-watching spots and so many other nature-related activities.

In addition to all what the hostel offers, we complement it with the necessary material for the activities, some back-up vehicles, sports material, emergency phone and mobile phones for the children to call home.

Food and meals

All our menus are previously elaborated and reviewed by a nutritionist. We adapt them to the needs of each summer camp, so that they are as much adequate and healthy as possible. Besides, we receive the food orders on a daily basis, so that quality and good condition are guaranteed.

In case your child has an allergy or intolerance to some food, you can tell us and we will elaborate a personalized menu. We are used to having children that are allergic or intolerant to gluten, egg, legumes, etc.

We always have one coordinator and a team of counselors 24/7. We also have specialists on multiadventure and water activities.

We have an optional round trip transfer service. The bus leaves from Madrid (Santiago Bernabéu Stadium) and stops at Las Rozas. The fee either taking the bus in Bernabéu or in Las Rozas is 20 €.
