FINCA DAROCA SUMMER CAMP

The experiences in contact with nature and learning English in a fun way are the pillars on which we set our summer camps. To this we add our privileged environment and first class facilities.

The summer camps last 14 days and take place throughout the month of July. Participation is open to children and young people between 8 and 16 years old from all over Spain and other nationalities, which greatly benefits their social and intercultural development.

In the course of these two weeks your children will carry out a very complete program of activities that includes projects of knowledge of nature, games, workshops and crafts, swimming pool and sports, multi-adventure activities and excursions.

All this immersing 100% in the English language, with a careful selection of activities that allow the development of different oral skills, written and listening. All the activities are directed by educators with the appropriate training and experience to get our campers to learn without realizing it. Our English plan is developed in the mornings in this privileged environment, where learning takes place through direct experimentation with nature in guided theoretical-practical workshops.

In these workshops children will enjoy, practice English and learn the fundamental role that nature has played and plays in our lives.

Through our program children and adolescents will work with native and bilingual monitors, the four essential skills in language learning. The groups will be distributed by levels of knowledge: Pre A1-A1 (YLE), A2 (KEY), B1 (PET), B2 (FCE)

At the same time and from fun we will direct our activities to personal growth, values ​​training, coexistence, respect, social skills, autonomy and responsibility, experimentation in the rural world and awareness in the care and sustainability of the environment. Environment, sports and fun.

Finally, we know that as parents safety is a very important issue when choosing a camp for your children, that is why at Finca Daroca we have taken care of every last detail so that we can have fun without risk. For this reason, your children will be taken care of 24 hours a day by an educational team that will be in charge of ensuring the well-being of each and every one of them and making them live an unforgettable experience.

Throughout the two weeks of camp, your children will do a lot of activities that will not matter much. Broadly speaking, the activities are grouped into:

Reception building that serves our visitors during office hours, and also has the address office, the meeting room.

Next, there is a multipurpose building that, in addition to the first-aid kit and the laundry, houses a dining room with an industrial kitchen ready to serve a large number of diners. The dining room communicates with the Hall of Acts and with a system of retractable screens you can expand your capacity. The Assembly Hall, thanks to the division system, allows to create different dispositions depending on the needs and an audio and video system for the representations.

On the one hand we have a dormitory pavilion with capacity for 98 guests in shared rooms of 8 people with bunk beds and cabinets for the belongings. In the pavilion there are bathrooms, toilets and showers. The whole installation has an air conditioning system both in summer and in winter.

The other option, for the more adventurous, is to take advantage of our camping area, we have tents with capacity for 5 - 6 people, with thermal insulation, padded floor, storage area for suitcases and nearby bathrooms and showers. They will enjoy a different experience when living surrounded by the forest and surrounded by the stars.

It has a 20 m² pool. The facilities are completed by two soccer fields, one football 8 and the other 11 soccer fields, both of natural grass, a multisport track for the practice of indoor football, basketball, handball ..., beach volleyball area, team games area, climbing wall, 250-meter zip line and 20-meter minitiroline, mountain bike circuit, navigable lake, archery, horse riding and children's playground. We can not forget our spaces dedicated to the knowledge and care of animals. We have a farm area for rabbits and domestic birds (chickens, turkeys, peacocks, pheasants, turtledoves ...) in which we have a research room with incubators. A pond for waterfowl. Stables with domestic animals such as sheep, goats, cows, pigs and horses, pony and donkeys, in which there is also a classroom for study, milking and workshops.

All this surrounded by an agricultural and forestry environment. Within the installation itself we have an area of ​​Mediterranean forest through which part of the circuit of mountain bike runs. We can find a large area dedicated to the cultivation of cereals and fruit trees: olive trees, vineyards, apple trees, pears, peach trees, plums, pomegranates, almonds ... as well as three educational areas dedicated to vegetation: the aromatic and pollinator garden, and the the classroom-greenhouse.
