Berria INTERNATIONAL SURF CAMP | Ages 12–19

Are you looking for a teenage summer camp to make the most of your holidays? Come and surf with us this summer and have an unforgettable experience. For teenagers aged 12 to 19 in July (grouped by age).

Immerse yourself in summer and enjoy unforgettable days at our Surf Camp. Meet new people from different countries while learning to surf, taking part in sports games, gymkhanas, Art and Nature workshops, evening activities, parties and much more.

If surfing is not your thing, speak to us — we offer alternative activities.

Our activities are carefully designed and adapted each year according to the characteristics of the participants.

  Participants will enjoy:

• Creative workshops focused on expression and personal development

• Free time with equipment available: beach volleyball net, balls, rackets, kites, board games, cards

A Typical Day:

• 3rd–9th July (7-day camp)

Accommodation at HOSTAL BERRIA, located at the foot of the beautiful Berria Beach, surrounded by protected dunes, coastal paths, mountains and sea.

Rooms for 2, 3 or 4 participants (boys and girls separated, keeping friendship groups together as far as possible), with private bathroom and views of either the mountains or the beach.

• 29th June–9th July and 13th–23rd July (11-day camp)

Accommodation at ALBERGUE LA BRENA, located in a privileged mountain setting in the Santa Cruz district of Rasines, in a traditional Cantabrian stone-and-wood house. A green landscape of fields and mountains surrounds the site, with the sea visible in the distance, offering opportunities for river, cave and hiking activities.

The hostel is 20 minutes by coach from Berria Beach, where we will go on 4 days for surf sessions and to explore the coastal environment.

Rooms range from 4 to 16 participants (boys and girls separated, friendship groups respected where possible), sleeping in bunk beds and sharing recently renovated bathrooms.

Outdoor facilities include a lawn garden, shaded areas, a pergola for sun or rain protection, enclosed by a wooden fence. A covered, glass-fronted workshop space suitable for creative activities. Around the house, 3,000 m² of meadow for outdoor games.

• Accommodation + Full Board + Surf Course + Day and Evening Activities

• Full board. Menus adapted for allergies and dietary requirements.

• Qualified monitors and camp coordinator with up to 25 years of experience, 24-hour supervision (1 per 10–13 participants), fully registered with Spanish Social Security, Civil Liability Insurance, and up-to-date Sexual Offences Clearance Certificate issued by the Spanish authorities.

• All permits required by the Cantabria Youth Council.

• High-quality equipment for all activities.

• Individual accident insurance with Mapfre.

• Medical centre 10 minutes away and 24-hour support vehicle.

• Camp updates shared via Facebook and Instagram.

Private coach transport can be arranged, accompanied by our monitors.

Routes and prices (return / one way):

• Madrid (Plaza de Castilla): €80 return / €55 one way

• Burgos (Rosa Manzano AVE station): €65 return / €45 one way

• Portugalete – Bilbao (Ugaldebieta service station): €55 return / €35 one way

Families may also drop off participants directly at the accommodation on the first day at 16:00 and collect them on the final day at 11:00.

If the person collecting or dropping off is not a parent or legal guardian, prior written authorisation is required.

• Valid until 1st April 2026:

• Siblings: €15 discount per child from the second sibling onwards

• Former Atelier Tipi participants: €20 discount
