10-day Multi-adventure Camp in Sierra de Gata

The GATA ACTIVA Association was born in Sierra de Gata (North of Cáceres) in 2015 after the union of several professionals with extensive experience in the Leisure and Free Time sector. Since then, at the Sierra de Gata Hostel, the main of the Association, we have given life to a socio-educational project committed to Education in Values ​​and the Environment.

The Camp, for boys, girls and young people between 7 and 15 years old. It lasts for 10 days full of friendship, games, creativity, joy, sports and adventure in a family environment.

Each of the proposed dates will have a setting or common thread depending on the theme that you want to deal with.

The activities are organized in four daily workshops: two in the morning and another two in the afternoon, with a duration of one hour and a quarter each. And every night... night soiree!

Our camps are "family" with a reduced number (in total and in the different groups) thus facilitating the necessary care towards all the participants by the Monitors and Coordinators.

We have an enviable environment, rich in water and biodiversity, made up of small towns with their own character, very well preserved, where rural traditions are still alive and present. The perfect setting for carrying out different activities. In addition, the reservoirs and the Natural Pools of the Sierra are the perfect resources for many of the aquatic activities that we do at the camp.

And we also believe that in a Camp you have to "eat well" and in a healthy way and for this reason, we prepare our menus daily at home, using fresh products and, if possible, of local origin.

• We have our own facilities in a natural environment, and located at the top of the town, which we take care of with great care throughout the year and which we prepare especially for the Summer Camps.

• Most of the activities are carried out in the same facilities, such as the Multi-Adventure Park.

• Since 2015 we have taken care of this space designed especially for the enjoyment and comfort of the youngest.

• We have 4 Little Houses, surrounded by a fenced green space with meadows for games and shady corners to develop the different workshops.

• Each house has rooms of different capacities, equipped with bunk beds, personal lockers, air conditioning, and complete toilets with hot water showers, inside each house.

• Less than 5 minutes away: Torre de Don Miguel Medical Center, with 24-hour emergency service.
